Earlier in the meeting CFO Jill Minnik and TMP Architecture presented a recommended furniture purchase for Hoben and Galamore elementary schools and Discovery Middle School as part of the district’s 2020 bond program. Administration presented totals and said the purchases would be funded with 2023 bond funds; a detailed line-item contract was not voted in open session at the time of the presentation.
The board also reviewed a recommended paving contract for Plymouth High School (PCE-6); presenters reported the recommended low bid from Nagel Paving in the amount of $919,675 and described scope and a target mid-June to mid-August 2026 construction window. Board members asked about scheduling around athletic events and contractor responsibility for restoration of disturbed grounds.
All recorded roll-call votes during the action-item sequence were unanimous in favor; where specific dollar amounts were presented, the administration identified funding sources and noted committee review at the March 5 Finance and Operations meeting.
