Superintendent says St. Charles schools rank highly in Niche 2026 list

In the superintendent’s Oct. 20 report, district leadership announced that Niche’s 2026 rankings placed St. Charles Parish Public Schools fourth in Louisiana and No. 1 in multiple New Orleans-area categories, including best district, most diverse district, best teachers and best district for athletes. The superintendent attributed the recognition to students, employees and community support and said the rankings will be shared on the district’s website and social media.
The superintendent reminded attendees that the rankings consider more than test scores and said the district’s placement reflects work across instructional and extracurricular programs. The superintendent also reminded the public that daylight saving time ends Nov. 2.
