St. Charles board approves consent items, minutes and school calendar first reading

Mr. Cody moved to approve the consent agenda and Mr. Oak seconded; the board approved the items by voice vote.
The board next approved minutes from Sep. 15 (budget review committee), Sep. 15 (committee meetings), Sep. 17 (board meeting) and Oct. 10 (board retreat). The board also approved the proposed 2026–2027 school-session calendar for first reading after a motion by Mr. Suffren and a second by Miss Weber; the calendar first reading passed unanimously.
