The Cheshire County Commission approved an EMS training agreement and the consent agenda during its March 26 meeting.
Following a nonpublic session under RSA 91‑A:3 II (c) — cited to protect reputations in personnel‑related discussion — a motion was proposed and seconded to execute an agreement dated April 1, 2025, between Next Generation Responder Development Services (described in session as EMS education services) and Cheshire County EMS. Commissioners Clark, Stewart and D. Bernarda each voted yes on the motion and it carried.
Earlier in open session the commission voted unanimously to accept the weekly manifest and the minutes of March 19, 2024; votes recorded were Commissioner Clark — Yes; Commissioner Stewart — Yes; Commissioner D. Bernarda — Yes.
The meeting then adjourned to nonpublic session and later returned to record the agreement vote. No further contract details were discussed in public beyond the parties’ names and effective date; commissioners directed staff to complete the paperwork and to provide signed hard copies as appropriate.
