The board did approve a resolution (No. 25-6) listing two 2025 special events sponsored by the Antioch Chamber of Commerce but asked staff to work with the Chamber and public-safety officials on traffic routing, temporary signage, and private security requirements to avoid pedestrian and vandalism risks associated with staging events near the new park.
What happens next: Staff will coordinate with the Chamber on event logistics, and any revised permit or license applications would need to conform to the village’s sign and licensing ordinances and be resubmitted if applicants wish to pursue them.
