Two candidates for appointment to the Salt Lake City Airport Board introduced themselves during the March 10 work session and were referred to the formal-meeting consent agenda.
Former council member Lisa Ramsey Adams described prior council service and interest in airport oversight based on travel experience. Jonathan Garner (introduced earlier as Jonathan Garner), a Salt Lake City resident and principal at Assyilia Investments, said he invests in local real estate and has been involved in hospitality and affordable-housing projects; he said he would offer advisory input to airport leadership.
Council members thanked both candidates and indicated their names will appear on the consent agenda at the council’s 7:00 p.m. formal meeting; no formal appointment vote was held in the work session.
What’s next: both names will be included on the evening consent agenda; appointments will be finalized at the formal meeting or via consent if the full council approves.
