Commissioners requested that Bethany verify the color temperature of nearby signs to ensure consistency; commissioners moved and approved case A-4-2026 with the condition that staff confirm and, if appropriate, require a color-temperature adjustment to 4,500K or lower to maintain sign compatibility.
Enclave Co-working (29 E. First St.): Dan Johnson, general manager for Enclave Co-working, requested a projecting blade sign to help customers find the second-floor entrance. Commissioners raised questions about an existing canopy and whether the canopy signage or adjacent tenant signage will be modified; staff said some canopy/tenant signage issues will be addressed later when the applicant returns for a wall sign. A-5-2026 was approved as submitted.
Votes: Both sign permit approvals passed on roll-call votes with attending commissioners voting in the affirmative.
