Columbia County advances GDOT-funded Washington Road widening and multiple road improvement agreements

Staff said the Washington Road work includes extending right-turn storage lanes to improve corridor flow.
A $88,413.95 safety striping contract with Midstate Construction and Striping was approved for restriping county-owned portions of several roads; the contractor will have 30 days from notice to proceed to complete the work. Staff recommended approval of the striping contract and multiple GDOT-related agreements.
