OKA refines 2026 data submission guide, sets payer timeline for registration and data collection

Margaretta Brandt, assistant deputy director for health system performance at OKA, told the Investment and Payment Work Group that OKA will publish revised regulations and Data Submission Guide (DSG 3.0) in April and open payer registration in May, followed by a June test-file window, a July start to data collection for the 2024–25 reporting years and a data due date on the first business day of September. OKA plans payer preview meetings from November through January 2027 and to publish an annual report in summer 2027.
The revisions keep the core methodologies for alternative payment model (APM) and primary care reporting unchanged but add detailed clarifications and tools meant to improve submitter accuracy.
