Trustees discussed project phasing: dugouts and demolition for Field 1 are planned this fall, with the press/storage area and drainage work — which requires Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) permits — scheduled for spring. The village confirmed it budgeted up to $100,000 toward construction this year; additional funds for phase two will be requested in 2026.
