Rochester seeks funding to finish long‑running community‑house renovation after bids came in high

He said the project includes an addition and renovation of roughly half the building and that the city has bond capacity and other funding sources available to cover additional costs.
Committee members asked about use, outreach and rental operations; witnesses described a seven‑day schedule of community programming and rental revenue that supports operations. The committee adjourned after the presentation and questions.
