The Vallejo Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend that City Council consider an addendum to the Fairview at Northgate certified environmental impact report and approve amendments to the master plan that would increase residential dwelling units from 178 to 245.
Cesar Orozco, planning manager for current development, told commissioners that LSA Associates prepared the CEQA addendum and that the analysis found the proposed changes would not cause new or substantially more severe environmental impacts beyond those examined in the certified 2020 EIR. Orozco summarized the package of entitlements: a zoning map correction to Planned Development (PD), an amendment to the Fairview at Northgate master plan, development/design/landscape reviews, and a vesting tentative map amendment to subdivide the project parcel to accommodate residential lots and associated public improvements.
