Vallejo reports progress on abandoned-vehicle backlog and outlines Measure P repaving timeline

Sergeant Leonard Aleman of the traffic division told the committee that staff reduced the SeeClickFix backlog of abandoned-vehicle reports from over 4,000 to about 1,260 and that for March the division handled 403 reports with roughly 150 tows performed. "For March 2026, there were 403 reported; approximately 150 were towed," Aleman said, and he noted the department has issued more than 500 citations tied to traffic-enforcement priorities.
