Human Resources presented a study concluding that the incumbent in the fire prevention inspector role had been performing work outside the scope of that classification and that the bulk of those duties better fit a plans-examiner role used by comparable Bay Area agencies. "Human resources conducted a study and determined that the incumbent is currently performing duties outside the scope of the prevention inspector," the Human Resources representative said.
