The newsletter includes a brief Google form for readers to report local needs; Deanna said responses covered a wide range of topics, including housing, pesticide applicator questions and child‑care needs. The form included an optional name field so respondents could request direct follow‑up.
Jenna, Dunn County’s communications representative, said the communications team has been posting recaps of standing‑committee meetings and will feature weekly videos highlighting social‑services staff for National Social Worker Month. She also noted that transit‑department performance data had been featured by WEAU and the La Crosse Tribune.
Committee members asked about accessibility: staff are transitioning away from PDF‑only documents and Kristen noted a training on converting materials is scheduled so content will work better with screen readers. Committee members agreed to pass along feedback about links that were not functioning on some devices.
The committee’s next regular meeting was announced for Tuesday, May 19 at 4:30 p.m.
