The Solano County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a lot-line adjustment affecting parcels in Lynch Canyon Open Space that transfers 7.45 acres between two adjacent lots to resolve a pond that spans both properties.
James Biesick, the county’s director of resource management, described the adjustment as a reconfiguration of existing lots — no new parcels would be created — that will simplify maintenance and grazing operations. He said the action will result in separate land-conservation contracts (1383 and 1384) and requires recordation of certificates of compliance and tax certificates to finalize the new lot lines.
Staff said the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under CEQA Guidelines sections 15268 (ministerial projects) and 15317 (establishment of land conservation contracts). A supervisor who said they once worked for Solano Land Trust moved the resolution forward; the board approved it 5–0.
The resolution directs staff to complete the ministerial steps needed to record the adjusted parcels and updated contracts.
