Lambertville council moves into closed session to discuss health benefits and redeveloper agreement

The Lambertville Council recessed its public meeting at 4:06 p.m. and voted to enter a closed session to address attorney–client matters, personnel issues, potential contracts and litigation. The stated purpose included discussion of health benefits and continued review of proposed edits to the redeveloper agreement with Khubnian.

A motion to move into closed session to address the listed attorney–client and personnel matters was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The motion cited the statutory authority for a closed session under N.J.S.A. 10:4‑12(b)(7) and (8). Council members noted that Councilman Led was participating from another room and was expected to join the closed session. Staff confirmed that members had the separate closed-session Zoom link on their calendars and directed a staff member (Erin) to proceed to that link.
