The New Milford Mayor and Council adopted Ordinance 2025 col 30 on final reading to rescind overnight parking prohibitions boroughwide between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.
The clerk explained the ordinance’s purpose was to remove the 2 a.m.–5 a.m. parking restriction on all streets; no members of the public spoke at the hearing. On the roll call, Councilwoman Sanen, Councilman Zylner, Council President Duffy, Councilman Seymour and Councilwoman Grant voted yes; Councilman Gratsky voted no. The ordinance passed 5–1.
Council discussion before the vote focused on opening the ordinance to public comment; none was offered and the council moved to final adoption. Officials did not record any amendments to the ordinance during the meeting. The mayor closed the public hearing and the council completed the roll call vote.
