McEwen Commission approves agenda, minutes and accepts corrected treasurer’s report

The McEwen Collection Commission during its April 6 regular meeting approved routine items on the consent calendar and accepted a corrected financial statement.
Commissioners moved and approved the agenda for the April 6 meeting (moved by Commissioner Kent; seconded by Vice Chair Benson). The commission then approved the minutes for the February 2, 2026 regular meeting (moved by Vice Chair Benson; seconded by Commissioner Tahima). Both motions passed by roll call with all members present voting in the affirmative.
During review of the December 31 treasurer’s report, commissioners and the treasurer identified arithmetic errors in formula fields that produced incorrect closing balances. Chair Trumper moved to accept the treasurer’s report with those corrections; Vice Chair Benson seconded. The commission recorded unanimous approval and directed staff to submit a revised treasury report to city staff and the finance department for record and inclusion in the minutes.
No additional formal votes were taken. The commission adjourned at about 6:05 p.m.
