The Muskego City Finance Committee on March 10 approved a set of routine administrative items, including a change of agent on a Class A liquor license, a utility easement, a building‑inspection services recommendation and several voucher and payroll approvals.
Licensing and easement: The committee recommended approval of a change of agent to Jessica Lson for a Class A liquor license held by GPM Southeast LLC (DBA Jets 44 4527 at the South 69 West Jainsville Road address). The motion was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The committee also recommended approval of a We Energies easement for city property; staff described the easement as a simple corridor through a city parcel and the motion passed by voice vote.
Building inspection services: Staff reported that the city solicited proposals for building‑inspection services and received three responses. Staff recommended continuing with the city’s current provider as the lowest responsive respondent; the committee approved the recommendation by voice vote.
Vouchers and transfers: The committee approved utility vouchers in the amount of $80,159, general fund vouchers totaling $626,363.72 (clarified aloud during the meeting), and wire transfers and payroll invoice transmittals totaling $458,400.18. All motions were moved, seconded and approved by voice votes.
Adjournment: With no finance director’s report, a motion to adjourn passed and the meeting ended at about 6:03 p.m.
Next steps: These approvals will be recorded in council minutes or in the relevant contract files; the building‑inspection services contract and the liquor‑license change will proceed to whatever administrative steps the city’s ordinances require for final processing.
