Associate Superintendent of Human Resources opened the program by welcoming Oak Grove families and staff to the new school year and emphasizing district values of quality performance, student learning, positive interdependence, respect, integrity and inclusivity.
Jana Anna, assistant superintendent of educational services, said the district will pilot a new language arts curriculum, provide additional training on classroom technology, expand tiered behavioral and social-emotional supports, and strengthen services for students with disabilities in 2025–26.
Mark Evans, associate superintendent of business, outlined summer operations including budget finalization, food service outreach during summer, maintenance and ongoing construction across the district, and work to prepare facilities and classrooms for the academic year.
The program closed with thanks to staff and the community and well wishes for a productive school year.
