Election office outlines petition, registration and mail-ballot deadlines; pilots electronic poll books at three sites

Geriney also said the election office has received the electronic poll books discussed at a prior meeting and plans to pilot them at three locations: Wampam, Shanic 4 and Newcastle 42. He said staff training was pending while he continued to configure the systems.
Board members asked questions about training and programming; Geriney said training would follow once configuration is complete. No members of the public spoke during the meeting’s public-comment periods.
