Board approves Milestone resurfacing extension, software purchase and several park/vendor agreements

The police department requested a one-year trial purchase of an event-management platform called 'Birdies' to handle registration and credit-card processing for the department’s DARE golf outing on Aug. 10, 2026. The one-time fee this year is $299 and will be paid from the program’s funds; legal reviewed the purchase and recommended approval.
Parks staff requested approval of a seven-year in-kind sponsorship with DNL Wood Products to replace and upgrade cubbies and seating at Bulldog Park and continue a Zamboni wrap; counsel recommended approval and the board approved the sponsorship.
Parks staff also presented an agreement with Pure Pro Wrestling to host a free, family-friendly 'Rock and Rumble' event at Bulldog Park on July 25 featuring live music and wrestling matches. Staff said the vendor will build the wrestling ring and the city will cover event costs; the board approved the agreement.
