Bradenton rolls out quarterly capital‑projects packet to show stormwater, water and wastewater progress

Council praised the format. Several members said the packet helps them answer constituent questions, monitor grant‑funded work and track deliverables. Mr. Perry and other staff noted coordinated funding strategies are in place, including facility and financial planning from consultants (Woodard & Curran) to support grant eligibility for large wastewater and drinking‑water projects.
Council referenced recent federal community projects and grants totaling more than $150 million in state and federal awards that support wastewater, stormwater and transportation work; staff emphasized the importance of maintaining project and financial plans to qualify for these funds.
No council vote was required; packet distribution is administrative and intended to improve transparency and project coordination.
