Bothell parks staff report cemetery contractor departure, new snowplow and timeline for dog statue

Operations staff also reported the installation of a new snowplow on a parks vehicle to support winter maintenance at parks and critical city facilities. "We just had that installed today. So I'm excited," one staff member said.
On the dog statue project staff said the artist has responded and will submit an invoice; staff expect work to begin in June or July and are coordinating with the family about any public recognition or outreach to local schools once installation is nearing completion.
Next steps: staff will evaluate RFP responses for cemetery services, return cost information when available, and continue coordinating logistics and family outreach for the dog statue.
