Board opens and closes public hearings on RSCA contract proposals

The Roseville Joint Union High School District opened public hearings April 8 to "sunshine" proposals ahead of negotiations with the Roseville Secondary Certificated Association for the 2025–26 school year.

Staff explained the district’s packet includes proposals on wages (Article 5) and health benefits (Article 6) and said the district wanted to open negotiations on leaves (Article 8) and evaluation language (Article 11) to align with the rollout of new California teaching standards. RSCA’s representative indicated the association would like to open Article 7 (hours of employment) and Article 10 (class size) in addition to wages and benefits.
