PVPUSD board adopts 2025–26 budget and approves LCAP update

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District board adopted the 2025–26 budget and approved the year‑two update to the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) in unanimous roll call votes.
Mrs. Terronis presented the adopted budget, which staff said was largely unchanged from the draft presented at the June 3 public hearing. She explained small differences shared with the board and confirmed the adopted budget did not yet reflect the tentative agreement with union partners or a pending CSEA unit modification. Board members thanked district leadership for the budget work and approved the budget 5–0.
Earlier in the meeting staff presented the LCAP update and noted there were no public or written comments following the June 3 public hearing; the board approved the LCAP by a 5–0 vote.
The superintendent also reminded the public that enrollment for 2025–26 remains open and provided operational reminders for families as planning continues over summer.
