At its meeting the Beach Haven Land Use Board agreed to carry an application for 100 Northwest Avenue to the board’s January 5 session after the applicant requested time to resolve notice and other outstanding items.
Attorney James Raven said his office received a request and an email indicating someone had not received notice; the board agreed to carry the matter to January 5, 2026, and the chair stated no additional notice would be provided beyond the meeting announcement. Board members were told interested parties could contact the board secretary for updates.
The board also adopted two resolutions by roll call: Resolution 2025-08 for 134 Belvore (a porch wraparound) and Resolution 2025-09 for 400 North Bay Avenue (the "Jersey girl" application). Both motions were moved, seconded and carried by recorded vote.
Near the end of the hearing the board chair announced they would resign as chair of the land use board, saying they will continue to serve on the board for two more years. The chair asked the board to select a new chair at the January meeting; members thanked the chair for their service.
The meeting closed after a motion to adjourn and holiday greetings were exchanged.
