Councilors and members of the public asked follow-up questions about larger drainage priorities—Grand Tour and Portland Road—and staff said the pipe/retaining-wall repair is one phase of a broader plan.
Next steps: If adopted after the Dec. 17 hearing, the borough will be authorized to award the contract to a bidder and begin construction. Councilors noted that related drainage work on adjacent streets will proceed as funding and grants permit.
