WALDWICK, N.J. — The Waldwick Board of Adjustment held its January reorganization meeting and completed its annual officer elections and professional appointments.
Marty Neman was nominated and elected chair and Rich Sarakola was nominated for vice chair by voice vote. The board administered oaths to incoming/reappointed members, with Miss Lepino beginning a four‑year term and Mr. Mitchell a two‑year term. Joyce Sinclair was named board secretary, Cliff M. Singer was appointed board attorney, Boswell Engineering was retained as board engineer and Phillips Priest as the board planner.
The meeting opened with the chair noting the board had posted its annual notice in the Waldwick administration building and filed required notices under the Open Public Meetings Act. The board then moved through routine business, including approval procedures for minutes and resolutions from the prior meeting.
The chair reminded applicants that approvals granted by the board are recorded in written resolutions adopted at a later meeting and published; the 45‑day statutory period to seek relief or challenge an approval runs from that publication date, not from tonight’s vote.
The board adopted its 2026 meeting schedule before adjourning.
