Forest Park honors neighborhood-watch ambassador Isaac Beal

Commissioners praised Beal’s leadership in starting a small nucleus of volunteers that grew to many participants and captains who led walks. "Isaac was one of the original people from neighborhood watch ... I always could count on Isaac for being there for me," Commissioner Burns said.
Accepting the recognition, Mr. Beal thanked the council and his family who attended. "I tried to do what was right for Forest Park. I love Forest Park and ... I appreciate that very much," he said.
Council members conveyed appreciation and encouraged residents to reengage with neighborhood-watch activities as community events resume.
