Supervisor E2 proposed forming a five-person working group to assess whether the county has surplus properties that could be sold for one-time revenue. The supervisor suggested the group include two supervisors, a county GIS representative, a DPW staffer and a county office representative, and asked that the proposal be placed on next month’s agenda as a resolution.
“Sarah Frankenfeld has a simple GIS application already. She's willing to update it from a couple years ago once assessments are updated in April,” Supervisor E2 said, indicating county mapping resources could be used to identify candidate parcels.
Committee members discussed committee jurisdiction and whether Public Works or Facilities might be a more appropriate venue; the chair said members would check and move the item to the correct committee if necessary. No formal vote on a resolution occurred; the chair agreed to place the resolution request on the next month’s agenda for further action.
