A staff member told the Warren County Joint Park and Open Space Committee on March 25 that the village has submitted or approved permits for a series of events using the festival space and adjacent parking.
The staff member said "first up would be May 27th through the 31st would be Americade," and added that a tow-truck event would follow and that the Adirondack Wine and Food Festival had applied to use the parking area outside the festival space. The presenter said the village board was reviewing or had already approved several of the listed events.
The presentation listed other events later in the year: the Lake George Epic Family Festival was recorded as approved at a prior village board meeting, and a Celebration of Nations festival was listed for Sept. 26–Oct. 11. The presenter also said the mayor was in discussions with organizers about additional events and that a fishing derby is expected in September.
Committee members posed no follow-up questions and raised no objections. The chair confirmed there were no pending items and the meeting moved to adjournment.
The staff member noted that some events remain under village board review and that permit approvals and logistics (for example, use of adjacent parking) are still being finalized.
