Rome said the item "will be there for tomorrow night for the board's consideration" and staff and the planning consultant were available to answer questions.
Committee members emphasized that the proposal documents a prior decision rather than setting new boundaries; one member asked the record to show the change traces back to about 2021–2022. No formal committee vote on adoption was recorded; the resolution is scheduled for the full board's consideration the following evening.
The committee did not request additional study; staff said the interactive mapping tool and more descriptive narratives should reduce public confusion about assignments. The board will consider formal adoption at its regular meeting.
