Brianna Casus of Mission EDC highlighted regional collaboration through RGV Connect and announced that the Ruby Red Ventures competition will open March 30 (applications close April 20) with awards up to $25,000 to help early‑stage entrepreneurs. Casus also described a pilot 'Mission Ready' paid internship program for students (15 slots) that EDC will fund to supply paid interns to local small businesses.
