At a Home Resource lunch-and-learn, Kylie introduced attendees to a local curbside composting company that offers flexible bin sizes from 5 to 96 gallons, curbside pickups, brush removal, soil delivery and one-site pickups. "When we compost together, we're not just reducing waste. We're building a more resilient, sustainable Missoula for all of us," she said.
Kylie explained their industrial process can safely handle food scraps including meat, eggs and bones, as well as paper products, yard material and certified bioplastics. She invited attendees to visit the Home Resource storefront for postable bags and soil, and asked people to use the provided compost bin for the event’s compostable to-go containers.
The presentation was primarily informational: Kylie encouraged residents, businesses and families to consider curbside service and directed interested people to the local storefront and the company’s pickup details at Home Resource. The session included no formal enrollment or municipal action.
