Council urges residents to complete town survey and appoints volunteer research adviser

Councilor Zimit told residents the borough is conducting a townwide survey to gather input on awareness and use of services and how residents prefer to get information. The survey is available online and via QR codes; flyers are posted in town locations and a mailer is planned in the coming weeks. "The survey is going to go on for about another month," Councilor Zimit said.
Councilor Zimit introduced Resolution 132-25 to appoint resident Roi Tote as an official volunteer research adviser to the community affairs committee in recognition of his assistance with the survey. The council approved the appointment by unanimous vote.
Councilor Zimit encouraged additional responses and said the committee will use the responses to shape outreach and services; no funding decisions were made during the discussion.
