Milpitas Unified board approves Innovation Campus GMP, accepts clean audit and advances labor and policy measures

Construction and capital: The board approved a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Innovation Campus Phase III construction contract after staff and the district’s construction team identified cost reductions totaling approximately $334,000 by trimming certain owner contingency and design allowances. Board members said the change followed an earlier study session discussion and voted to approve the GMP.
