The St. Louis City Board of Aldermen’s Housing, Urban Development and Zoning Committee advanced Board Bill 168 out of committee with a due-pass recommendation after hearing testimony about boundary changes to the stadium special improvement district (SID).
Alderman Alman Aldridge introduced the bill and called Courtney Miller, director of public engagement for St. Louis City SC, to explain the changes. “My name is Courtney Miller. I’m the director of public engagement for St. Louis City SC,” Miller said, and described the SID’s purpose as a way for the privately operated district to recover some infrastructure costs tied to the stadium and surrounding development.
