The chair said the dates are on the schedule the board approved today and that the workshop was placed in July to avoid a formal July board meeting. “The date that we have put before you is July 9th and 10th,” the chair said, adding the board understands the dates will conflict with some members’ schedules.
The chair also flagged the URSA conference for the week after the workshop, July 15–17, and said leaders chose the July workshop dates while acknowledging possible attendance issues. The chair asked members to note both sets of dates early so scheduling conflicts can be managed.
The chair concluded by reminding members that the July session is intended as a workshop rather than a formal board meeting and that leadership hopes to have as many of the 15 members participate as possible.
