Matthew Pop, consultant to the agency, told commissioners the proposed bridge is routine and that the work would occur in areas already disturbed, so the submission would be placed on the commission’s next meeting agenda for consideration rather than scheduled for a public hearing. The commission moved to receive the application and the motion carried.
The acceptance means the item will be scheduled for a future meeting for full review; staff advised commissioners that no additional coastal or wetlands hearing was required because of the limited, previously disturbed footprint. The commission did not specify a hearing date at the meeting.
