The county attorney described the item as routine: "This is just a annual resolution that we do every year," the attorney said. The designation allows the county administrator to oversee and certify environmental review activities tied to any CDBG grants the county applies for during the year.
The motion was moved and seconded and carried with one member opposing. Committee members recorded the item for the board and noted that the proclamation for Fair Housing Month would appear on the full board agenda later; no substantive action on that proclamation was taken today.
Following the vote, members scheduled a caucus and then moved to adjourn.
