Board member Miller moved to approve item 6.01; Board member Banister seconded. The chair recorded an "I" vote and the motion passed unanimously 4-0.
Board members praised the cautious approach and staff diligence ensuring district interests and access for student programming are preserved. Superintendent and staff said the agreement preserves district rooms for student use during school hours and noted the district would collaborate with the county and city and thank donors if the project advances.
The motion does not obligate the district beyond land use and access provisions; the project still requires county approval and a public bid to establish construction costs.
