Tampa — Andrea McClellan told the land use hearing officer she wants to rebuild a home on a legally nonconforming lot and requested front and rear yard setback variances so the new house can face the lake rather than the road.
Staff summarized requirements and noted the lot does not meet the AR district’s minimum lot size but is legally nonconforming; McClellan said the proposed structure would follow the prior house footprint, that she notified adjacent neighbors, and that family members own nearby parcels. She said neighbors support the project and cited three nearby homes with similar variances.
No one registered opposition and the officer closed the item for a written decision.
