Mr. Wax moved that the salary be approved publicly and the council then tabulated the vote; the salary motion passed (recorded as 12 yes). The confirmation vote for the appointment was also recorded as approved (roll call recorded earlier as unanimous in the committee and then approved by the full council).
The council welcomed Levy to city service and directed clerical processing of the appointment.
