Hinsdale board OKs FY27 admin raises and three‑year principal, two‑year CIO contracts

Principal contract: the board approved a proposed three‑year contract (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2029) for Hinsdale South principal Dr. Carrie Peronto that incorporates a 2026–27 salary of $203,221.33; members offered public thanks for Peronto’s service.

CIO contract and remarks: the board approved a two‑year contract (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2028) for Chief Information Officer Michael Swanson with a 2026–27 salary of $180,000. Swanson attended the meeting and thanked the board, saying he looked forward to aligning technology to enhance education.
