Willard considers park restrooms, donor-funded lighting and railroad safety grant

Separately, staff described safety improvements to the railroad crossing at First Street. The minutes note a $25,000 grant from the Ohio Rail Commission could help fund improvements; once those are complete, staff said the city could apply for a quiet zone.
Staff also mentioned possible development of Gahr Farm and said infrastructure grants might be available if the property is developed. No formal decisions were recorded in the minutes on these items; staff said they would pursue grant opportunities and report back.
