Willard City Council recorded several unanimous actions during its Feb. 2 regular meeting.
The council approved the minutes of its Jan. 20 meeting (motion by Olson, second Danhoff). It approved crediting Jeret Halbeisen with four years of prior service for vacation-accrual purposes (motion by Olson, second Daniel). The council accepted a $2,354.89 donation from the Willard Moose Lodge to the Centennial/Sesquicentennial Fund (motion by Olson, second Danhoff).
Council also adopted Resolution 2644‑26, authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with OHM Advisors of Perrysburg, Ohio, for municipal engineering services; the council suspended the rules and adopted the resolution on its first reading (motion by Olson, second Danhoff). Council adopted Ordinance 6023‑26, fixing the wages for the Council Clerk and declaring an emergency; the council waived the seven‑day layover and passed the ordinance in a unanimous vote (motion by Olson, second Daniel).
All recorded votes in these actions were yea from Councilmembers Babcock, Danhoff, Daniel, McKenzie, Olson, Sattig and Vanichek. The council adjourned at the end of the session.
