Dennis Conlon, identifying himself as a resident of 4581 Northwest 6th Court, urged the Community Redevelopment Agency to limit redevelopment of the Plantation General Hospital site to three stories during the public‑comment period.
Conlon said he wanted the redevelopment to “please limit the redevelopment of the area to 3 stories, which would basically match the Village Green condominiums and … the 2 story apartment buildings on the corner there.” He also noted that the HCA Florida Plantation Emergency Center had a grand opening announced for Thursday, 05/07/2026 and said he had followed the project since its groundbreaking.
Conlon also pointed out that commissioner name tags were not on the dais and asked commissioners to consider neighborhood scale in redevelopment decisions. The chair thanked Conlon and closed public comment; no formal motion or direction on the redevelopment request was recorded in the transcript.
