Yamhill County commissioners approve IGAs, MOA and rescind incorrect board order; motions pass unanimously

The board unanimously approved the consent agenda and passed a motion to correct an earlier rescission of a board order that used an incorrect number, with staff explaining the change was a numbering error. The board then approved a planning-docket item on remand for a comprehensive-plan amendment and 14-lot subdivision (applicant John Abrams) and moved forward with an intergovernmental agreement (IGA #15568) with the Oregon Youth Authority to provide juvenile-record-expunction services for $57,705.84 retroactive to Jan. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2027.
Commissioners also approved a memorandum of agreement between Yamhill County Health & Human Services and Oregon Health & Science University for the Nutrition Oregon campaign, in the amount of $28,954 retroactive to Jan. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2026. All motions noted in the consent and business agenda were passed by voice vote without recorded dissent.
What this means: These approvals put the county into multiyear agreements on juvenile-record services and public-health outreach and correct a clerical error in prior board documentation; none of the passed items were contested in the meeting.
